-Price alone, does NOT make a better computer… -And making a decision to purchase a new computer using only that mentality—is the fastest way to waste your hard-earned money… Let us explain: Both those type of retailers, either--will NOT give you repair or support service AFTER your purchase--or else, if they do--it would be with you paying outrageous and unnecessary, up-front costs—or, ridiculous shipping and insurance every time you have to send your computer to Compaq or 'whoever', for repair—AND--you can, very commonly, be without the PC for anywhere from weeks-to-months in turn-around time--AND--even afterwards, you still may not even get your problem fixed--and you'll have to go through ALL that *again*...) -Price--should NEVER be the ONLY deciding factor when purchasing a computer !

3. Regarding all the components they use verses what we use to build a PC:


1. Take the hard drive, for example-- Ours are major brand name manufacturers--not necessarily so with them. Ours may have an 8MB cache--theirs not..;


2. Their parts carry much shorter warranties than ours do--sometimes as much as a FOUR (4) YEAR difference!


3. Their video cards, for example, are stripped-down versions of the full-version retail cards WE install--so you LOSE functionality AND performance;


4. Lastly, and *most importantly*, you will lose every benefit that comes with a non-integrated motherboard, verses the inferior 'fully-integrated' boards that other retail/online stores are trying to dump on you:

--Digi-Tek stands proudly out from the crowd--selling as many Tier 1, non-integrated boards as we can obtain. (There are a lot of motherboard manufacturers--only a few make solid, high-performing, well-warrantied boards--The rest make--well--…junk...)

-What you LOSE and suffer from, when you do NOT buy a Tier 1 , non-integrated motherboard are:

1. Total lack of any significant CPU upgrade ability down the road,


2. Inferior quality and loss of full functionality--of all hardware components --such as video, sound, memory, etc.;

4. Replacement of their parts standardly require hard to fit, proprietary parts--not the far cheaper, standard parts--readily available;


5. Their BIOS, many times, will not let you turn off integrated functionality such as video or sound—or else create conflicts with new, installed cards;

-So, that ‘little lower’ price they're trying to 'sell' you on, is really going to COST you *thousands* over five years—because you will eventually need to replace it, because some component will fail—or you will want to upgrade your CPU or utilize a later technology—and you won’t be able to—without having to rebuy a new machine! WE—do not intend for you to HAVE to replace ours!

-So, in the long run , OUR computers are FAR cheaper!

A wise and intelligent consumer is ahead of the game, when he or she can understand our slogan: "Don't buy a good, cheap computer--Buy a GOOD computer, cheap!"
